Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SnapNSign at snapnsign.com (the “Service”), provided by BETA-B, the legal owner and operator of the Service (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@snapnsign.com. These Terms apply to your use of the Service. You accept them through the acceptance checkbox shown before completing an operation.
1. The Service
SnapNSign lets you photograph or upload documents, mark signature fields, share an encrypted link and receive signed copies. Documents are encrypted on your device. Ordinary signing links relay encrypted files for up to 48 hours. A group link may keep one common encrypted original for up to 10 days, while each encrypted signed result is kept for no more than 48 hours and is removed when the sender receives it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) and able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Electronic signatures and document responsibility
- SnapNSign is a technical transmission and signature tool. It is not a party to your documents, does not author or review their content, and does not provide legal advice.
- A signature created through the Service is not automatically identity-verified, is not a qualified electronic signature (QES), and is not a notarial act. We do not guarantee universal legal validity or suitability for any document or jurisdiction. Some documents may require another form of signature, witness, notarisation or other formalities. You are responsible for determining what is appropriate; mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected. Email verification confirms access to a mailbox at sign-in; it is not verification of a person’s identity.
- The sender is responsible for authority to send the document and for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of its source and assigned fields. The signer should review the whole document, view or download it before completion, and sign only if doing so voluntarily reflects their intent. A checkbox or other acknowledgement is not proof that anyone read, understood, or verified the document or identity.
- Recipients must complete only the fields assigned to them and must not alter the source document or assigned field positions. If a correction is needed, ask the sender. A sender correction must be issued and presented as a new version for review; it does not silently or retroactively replace a version already presented or signed.
- The available PDF audit is provided to the participants; it is not automatically emailed. Any separate server receipt or audit record is not a QES, qualified timestamp, notarial certification or independent verification of document contents. Where document hashes are transmitted to our server, they are declared by the client application (the participant’s browser) and do not mean we inspected the plaintext; documents are end-to-end encrypted.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you upload and share, and you must have the right to share it.
- You must not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or harmful purposes, to distribute malware, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Keep share links private: anyone who has a link can open that document until it expires.
- A common group link may be forwarded. It does not prove that a particular invited person opened or signed a copy; the sender is responsible for checking signer identity where needed.
5. Free sends and credits
- A verified email account currently receives 2 free documents once. After that, each completed scan, self-signed document, or document sent for signature uses 1 credit, up to 50 pages and 25 MB per document. There is no recurring monthly free credit.
- Credits are usage credits that can only be used for scans, self-signed documents and documents sent for signature through the Service. They are not money, e-money or a deposit and have no cash value.
- Refunds: you can request a refund of a purchase within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@snapnsign.com, as described in our Refund Policy. Otherwise credits cannot be exchanged for money, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
- Credits are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another person or account, except as the Service may expressly allow.
- Credits expire 24 months after the date of purchase. Each purchase is a separate lot with its own expiry date, shown in your account (“Credit validity”) and on the buy screen. When you send a document, the credits that expire first are used first. Unused credits of a lot are removed from your balance on its expiry date and are not refunded, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We send a one-time reminder email to your account address about 30 days before a lot expires (if delivery fails, the credits still expire on that date). Free allowances expire as described in the app.
- Completing documents requires a verified email account (sign-in with a one-time code sent to your email). Paid credits are stored in your account and are available on all your devices where you are signed in. You are responsible for keeping access to your email address.
- If you delete your account, its remaining credits are forfeited and cannot be restored.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. The checkout shows the price and billing interval before purchase. You can cancel future renewals through the payment-management link supplied with your order or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.
- Monthly plan credits do not roll over. On each successful renewal, the monthly plan balance is replaced with the allowance for the renewed plan. Separately purchased credit packs remain subject to their own 24-month validity.
- Promotional bonus credits. From time to time we may offer promotional credits, for example a one-time bonus document when you explicitly opt in to marketing emails. Promotional credits are usage credits with no cash value, are granted at most once per verified account for a given promotion, are kept separate from purchased credits in your account, and are valid for the period shown when they are granted (currently 90 days for the opt-in bonus); unused promotional credits are removed on their expiry date and are not refunded. Withdrawing marketing consent does not remove a bonus you already received or used. We may change, suspend or end a promotion for the future at any time, and we may withdraw unused promotional credits in case of abuse (for example throwaway email addresses or repeated accounts); none of this affects credits you have purchased or an active subscription. When you send a document, plan credits are used first, then the credits that expire first.
- Current prices are listed on our Pricing page. Prices are shown in your local currency before purchase and may differ by country or region (regional pricing). We may change prices, packs and free allowances for future purchases. Purchases are not available in some countries and regions (for example Russia and Belarus) because of sanctions and payment-provider restrictions.
- Purchased extra template slots do not expire. They increase the number of templates you may save on your own device or connected storage. SnapNSign does not store the template document. A refund or chargeback removes the related capacity but does not remotely delete templates already stored on your device.
- Optional Google Drive backup. Eligible purchases may allow you to connect your own Google Drive. The app encrypts each vault item in your browser before it reaches Google. You must keep the recovery code safe: neither SnapNSign nor Google can recover it or decrypt the backup for you. Disconnecting or deleting your SnapNSign account deletes the Google credentials we store and asks Google to revoke our access, but does not automatically delete ciphertext already stored in your Google account.
- Payments are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com, which handles checkout (for example cards and PayPal), subscription management, invoicing and applicable taxes. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply. Credits or a plan are activated only after Paddle confirms payment. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the related credits or plan allowance are removed.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment-related customer service and processes refunds. For Service support and refund requests, you may also contact support@snapnsign.com as described in our Refund Policy.
6. Your data and storage
Readable documents and decryption keys are stored on your device. If you explicitly enable Google Drive backup, browser-encrypted copies are stored in your own Google Drive encrypted-backup folder; our server and Google receive only ciphertext and cannot decrypt it without your recovery code. Our relay temporarily stores ciphertext as described above, but cannot decrypt it. We cannot read or recreate a lost recovery code. Please save important signed PDFs and the recovery code in safe places. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Ordinary encrypted files and group results that are not collected within 48 hours are deleted automatically; a common encrypted group original expires after at most 10 days.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software and branding belong to us or our licensors. You keep all rights to your documents.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or documents, or loss of profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
13. Changes and consent records
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be presented for renewed acknowledgement where applicable; changes do not retroactively replace the version previously accepted. The exact text and consent version shown for an operation will be identified by its immutable version, language and hash. Future consent records are planned and will be active only when the related system integration is ready. These Terms do not claim that the planned operation evidence journal described in our Privacy Policy is currently implemented.
