Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed:

SnapNSign is committed to making its web app usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of quality and keep improving it.

Accessibility standard

The Service was adapted in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, level AA. We also aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, as referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 (European Accessibility Act) and commonly applied under the US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What is accessible

  • Screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, JAWS): buttons and icons have text labels, images have text alternatives, and status messages are announced.
  • Full keyboard operation with a clearly visible focus indicator, a “Skip to main content” link, and dialogs that keep focus inside and close with Esc.
  • Text colour contrast of at least 4.5:1; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Content reflows at 200% zoom and on narrow screens (320 px) without horizontal scrolling; text can be enlarged.
  • Animations are reduced when “Reduce motion” is turned on in your device settings.
  • 15 interface languages with full right-to-left (Hebrew) support; the page language is declared for assistive technology.
  • Signers who cannot draw can type their name instead. The typed signature is shown in a handwriting-style font and recorded as “typed” in the audit page of the signed PDF.
  • Signature fields and crop corners can be moved with the keyboard (arrow keys) as well as by touch; touch targets are large.

Known limitations

  • Photographed pages are images, so screen readers cannot read the text on them (document names and page numbers are announced). If you need an accessible document, upload a text-based PDF.
  • The signed PDF created by the app is not a tagged (accessible) PDF.
  • The security check on the sign-in screen (Cloudflare Turnstile) is provided by a third party. If you have trouble with it, contact us and we will help you sign in.
  • The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are currently available in English only.
