Sign a PDF on your phone
To sign a PDF on your phone, open SnapNSign in your browser, upload the file or photograph the pages, add a signature field and sign. You can also send a secure link to someone else so they sign online, with no printing and no scanner. Download the finished PDF and keep it on your own device.
How to sign a document on your phone, step by step
- Open snapnsign.com in your phone or computer browser. You do not have to install an app.
- Upload a PDF, Word, Excel or image file, or photograph the pages of a paper document. You get a PDF.
- Add signature and text fields where they are needed.
- Sign it yourself, or share the secure link with the person who has to sign.
- Download the signed PDF and keep it on your device.
Sign it yourself or send it for signature
To sign yourself, place your signature in the field and download the document. To get a signature from someone else, place the fields, copy the encrypted link and send it by message or email.
The signer opens the link, confirms their email with a one-time code and signs. No password is needed. If many people must sign the same form, one group link lets each person sign their own copy. Group links are included with packs of 20 credits or more.
When this helps
It suits forms, agreements and confirmations that arrive as a PDF, Word or Excel file, as well as paper pages you photograph. Whoever opens your link can sign from a phone or a computer, from anywhere, so a document can be signed remotely without meeting in person.
Privacy: the server does not get your key
The document is encrypted and decrypted in your browser. The server receives only encrypted data and never receives the key that is part of the link. Temporary encrypted copies are deleted automatically, and the finished PDF is downloaded and kept on your own device.
